TSRA CEO term ends on 31 January 2022

The Torres Strait Regional Authority (TSRA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ms Leilani Bin-Juda PSM will finish her tenure on 31 January 2022. Ms Bin-Juda will return to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

TSRA Chairperson Mr Napau Pedro Stephen AM said Ms Bin-Juda had an impressive list of achievements since commencing in the role in January 2019. “Ms Bin-Juda has implemented key changes across the agency to improve TSRA’s ability to achieve our goal of empowering our people, in our decision, in our culture for our people.”

“Highlights for the TSRA under her watch included the launch of our Indigenous recruitment and career development strategy, introducing the TSRA celebrating International Women’s Day and NAIDOC Week as well as building strong, collaborative working relationships across community, government and industry sectors.” Mr Stephen said.

Ms Bin-Juda will continue as the TSRA CEO until the end of her tenure on 31 January 2022.
