Queensland Government Grants
The Queensland Government is committed to the growth and success of small business in Queensland. Under the Advancing Queensland Small Business Strategy 2016-20 three new grant programs will be available. These grants are not offered by the TSRA, however through our solution broker role we can assist you to contact the Queensland Government.
Accelerate Small Business Grants
This grant provides targeted assistance to small businesses that demonstrate high-growth and employment aspirations to enable them to engage high-level expertise for their business. It will provide funding of up to $10 000 for eligible businesses. The funding must be matched by the participating business.

Small Business Digital Grants
This grant will help small businesses work smarter and be more innovative. The program will provide grants of up to $10 000, matched by participants, to embrace digital technologies and opportunities arising from digital disruption.

Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow Grants
This grant will help small businesses get a better start. It provides grants of up to $5 000, matched by recipients, for new home-based start-ups.

Commercial Fisher Loans
The Queensland Rural Adjustment Authority (QRAA) provides financial assistance for the commercial fishing industry which provides you with flexibility to assess your business options, increase your productivity and improve your current business situation. These products are not offered by the TSRA, however through our solution broker role we can assist you to contact QRAA.
First Start Loans provide you with finance up to $2,000,000 to assist you in the early years of establishing your first commercial wild catch-fishing enterprise.
Sustainability Loans provide you with finance up to $1,300,000 to assist in achieving a more productive and sustainable commercial wild catch-fishing enterprise.
