TSRA Congratulates elected Mayors and Councillors

The Torres Strait Regional Authority (TSRA) congratulates the new Mayors and Councillors, elected during the Queensland Local Government Elections.

Mr Fred Gela has been elected as the Torres Strait Island Regional Council Mayor, Mr Joseph Elu the Mayor for the Northern Peninsula Area Regional Council and Mr Pedro Stephen the Mayor of the Torres Shire Council.

TSRA has a strong working relationship with Community Councils and now looks forward to another term of co-operative partnership with each of the three newly elected Councils.
