New employees to the TSRA work under the TSRA Collective Agreement 2006-2009.

Any submitted application sent by email to the TSRA should clearly address the selection criteria and have your appropriate contact details, including contact telephone number and postal address, included in the email.
You should note however, that there are risks associated with using the Internet as a transmission medium in that when you send information over the Internet, it may be possible for others to see what you are sending. If this is a concern to you, then you should use other methods of communication with the TSRA.
TSRA Traineeships
The TSRA often offers Administration (full-time) and School-based (part-time) Traineeships to people living in the Torres Strait. Traineeships aim to provide participants with work experience in different sections of the TSRA as well as build confidence and develop administration skills. There may also be an opportunity at the completion of the traineeship for a career in the Australian Public Service. Upon successful completion of the traineeship, trainees will receive either a Certificate II or III in Business.
